Inscape Publishing Recognizes Kemp for 9th Year
Inscape Publishing has recognized Meeting & Management Essentials’ founder Jana M. Kemp for the ninth consecutive year for her top sales achievements. Publisher of the Personal Profile System, Time Mastery Profile and dozens of other training resources, Inscape Publishing held its annual sales recognition event in Palm Springs California. U.S. and international distributors were recognized. Only three percent of distributors are recognized for annual wholesale purchases over $30,000. Kemp is among the company’s three percent of top sales achievers due to her product knowledge, content support and sales of materials.
Montana Landscape and Nursery Association Delighted with Kemp
Snow kept Jana Kemp from arriving for the 2001 Montana Landscape and Nursery Association’s annual conference. The 2002 Conference attendees report that it was worth the wait. Kemp’s presentations were on Time and Priority Management and Working with Difficult People. With over half of the conference attendees in the room (120 in the session), standing room only and Kemp’s high-energy presentation kept attention during the presentation. Kemp’s facilitation skills sparkled when during the Difficult People presentation the lights in the hotel facility went out. She kept cool and directed attendees through the steps of exiting the building without losing a beat. Fortunately, the power-outage was only a temporary distraction and the session finished on time.
HSMAI invites Kemp to Return
After a successful presentation on Powerful Meeting Content to the Hospitality Sales Managers Association International (HSMAI) annual international Conference in Washington D.C., September 2001, Jana Kemp was invited to present the session again at the regional conferences in Chicago and San Francisco in 2002. Kemp Presents to Russian Grocers
Caldwell Idaho Optimist Club members hosted a delegation of fifteen Russian Grocers in order to share American business and grocery practices. Meeting & Management Essentials founder Jana M. Kemp was one of the half-day presenters to the group. Working with the delegation’s facilitator and interpreter, Kemp delivered a session focused on time management, meeting management and communication skills. Acclaimed for her presentation, Kemp has been invited to Russia to further present business training.
National Rural Electric Cooperative Invites Kemp to Return
Returning for a second time to the annual National Rural Electric Cooperative’s Executive Assistant’s Conference, Jana Kemp delivered two sessions on Meeting Management skills. Favorable reviews keep her on the repeat-presenter roster for this conference.
Kemp becomes columnist for another paper
Now writing for the Idaho Business Review every other week, Jana Kemp is busily contributing to workplace success with her column Lessons Learned. This column is an outgrowth of her 40 under 40 recognition (see next press release) in March of this year. Kemp continues into her third year writing business columns for the Idaho Press Tribune and into the third year of hosting live business-radio programs every Saturday morning on KBOI (670am) in Boise.

Jana Kemp, founder of Meeting & Management Essentials was presented a Gold Executive award for outstanding sales achievement at the 21st annual Carlson International Business Conference hosted by Carlson Learning Company in Palm Springs California.
Meeting & Management Essentials has been a distributor of Carlson's materials for seven years, earning sales recognition each year. The Gold Executive award places Kemp in the top five percent of Carlson's resellers.
Kemp speaks at Presentations/TRAINING 2000
A repeat speaking invitation brought Jana Kemp to Atlanta for the Presentations/TRAINING 2000 conference. The annual conference was attended by thousands of trainers, speakers and presenters from around the world.
Kemp's High-Tech or High-Touch: What's a Presenter to Choose breakout session was a part of a conference session roster that included speakers such as Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Social Anthropologist Jennifer James, Bob Pike, Richard Chang, Bob Nelson, Michael Gelb and more.

“Momentum” Earns Third-place Ratings
Radio talk show “Momentum” on KBOI (670am) in Boise, Idaho, and hosted by Jana Kemp, achieved third-place in the fall 1998 Arbitron ratings for radio shows. Rated first in talk radio for the morning timeslot, the third place overall ranking (for 35 to 64 year olds) is impressive given that “Momentum” debuted last fall.
The brainchild of Jana Kemp, “Momentum” is a business-news-talk radio show that weekly focuses on the moment-to-moment issues of managing business life. Topics range from business profiles to interviews about management and employee issues.
