Every year the Idaho Business Review holds a Women of the Year event. Congratulations to the 2018 recognized women. Welcome to the group! I was honored to have been nominated by Glory Gray in 2007. The work done and “passion, power, potential” (this year’s theme) pursued by all nominees every year makes our community better and stronger.
Record your community contributions! Whether you volunteer, serve on boards, mentor, work at a non-profit or government agency, or actively support your children’s educational experiences, you ARE contributing to a better and stronger community.
Keep a community contributions log. This log is useful for your resume-building and as a reminder to you of all that you have done year-over-year. Remember to record what you did, how you served, how long you served, and whom you helped.
Keep up your community contributions. Feed your passion along the way. Others will appreciate your service and you’ll find rewards during your service too.
