A Coming of Age adventure based on Ann Brashares’ best-selling novel about a special 16th summer in the lives of four lifelong friends who are separated for the first time.
Jana notes: “Coming of Age” in a description means that tough decisions tied to becoming an adult are included in the film. Great stories are told; mature topics like deciding to have sex while a teen are presented.
Audience: Young Adults and Adults.
Rating: PG-13 is what I would have movie-rated this film. Enjoyable slice of life film.
Message Take-away: Having friends-for-life is important.
